Happy 4th of July!!! Taking a short break~~~

Hello Everyone,

Right now I am with my family and friends (and there are a lot of them here) we are celebrating the 4th of July Independence Day.

I got “Hi-jacked” to go and see the local parade, with bands, and floats and what I love the most is the mounted horse units, especially the Caballeros with their spirited horses.   And we know when the parade has ended because the last display unit is the city street sweeper.

At least I could sit in a comfortable chair and out of the sun,  my family has cooked up lots of bar-be-que and they will go and watch the sanctioned fireworks, while some of the older members will stay home with me to make sure the illegal fireworks don’t set anything on fire.

I am able to walk around a bit better, the Doctor has me in a figure 8 cross-brace now, which is like an extra, extra heavy duty compression bandage with fancy ace bandages,  and I use a cane and always someone holds my arm to make sure I don’t fall.    I need that with the little one’s running around blowing bubbles, sometimes they don’t see where they are going.

I’m also going to physical therapy to make sure I get full range of motion, but I can forget 3 inch heels, well I never wore them anyway, always pinched my toes.

I’ve managed to squeeze in a few replies to questions and comments but I’m going to have to take a break for the next day or two to recover from the festivities and go to my doctor appointments.

Now I have not forgotten your question Jay, nor yours Onyx, but give me a little time to respond, I did get seriously invaded.

And the little ones want to watch for the next few days a Harry Potter film marathon because some of them are going to the Universal Resort to see the Harry Potter section.   I wish I could go but I’m no longer built for some of those roller coaster type rides.

One interesting thing that I’ve been having is a chat with some of the family and some of my practitioner friends, is about St. Martha also known as St. Martha the Dominator because it was brought up in one of my questions.    So much so that I may do a blog post about her.

I’ve always said that sometimes it pays to work with the saints because their energy can help us in dealing with problems.    But we also have to remember that sometimes the saints may say “no”, and that is because they may see something better for us, or because it is a life lesson we need to learn from.

So I will return in a day or two,  right now I have to go,  they brought out dessert!   I always say “Life is short, eat the dessert first!”  but oh my how my nephew cooked up those ribs!!

Bright Blessings,
Ms. Q
